INT’L SELECT SIRE AUCTION *PROGRESSIVE SILENT AUCTION* Parade of Stallions at 12 Noon SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2008 Bids will be taken from 12:00 noon to 1/2 hour after Futurity Show (Approx. 8 pm) PAY SCHEDULE Dear Stallion and Mare Owners At the Auction we will use the following Pay Schedule. 1. Bidding will start at Half (1/2) the advertised breeding fee or $200. Unless a minimum fee is advertised. 2. 30% must be paid the day of the Auction. 3. $50.00 is the minimum amount to be paid the day of the Auction. 4. Remaining amount due by February 1, 2009. 5. Or, if you chose, you can pay the auction bid in full. SEALED BIDS IF YOU CHOOSE, A SEALED BID CAN BE SENT IN FOR THE STALLION OF YOUR CHOICE. THE BID MUST BE FOR HALF OR ABOVE THE STATED BREEDING FEE, OR, IF A MINIMUM AMOUNT IS STATED, IT MUST BE FOR THAT AMOUNT OR ABOVE.
There will be an award given to the stallion owner for Best Dressed Stall. It will be judged on cleanliness, attractiveness, and how well it promotes your stallion. It will be awarded Saturday afternoon, approximately 4:00 pm. If you would like to enter your stallion in our futurity program or would like more information PLEASE CONTACT: Renee Flom 16193 49th St SE, Davenport, ND 58021 Phone (701) 428-3042 ***ATTENTION FUTURITY PARTICIPANTS*** The Red River Valley Select Sire Futurity has a program called the "Select Sire Futurity Superhorse Award." Points will be tabulated separately for QH and App with 1 award given for each breed. A horse must show as a 3 year old to win the Superhorse Award, but doesn’t need to show every year. Points will be awarded as follows: 10 pts for 1st 9 pts for 2nd 8 pts for 3rd 7 pts for 4th – etc This point system will be used no matter how many are shown in the class. The winner of each breed will receive a trophy saddle or equivalent. GREAT MIDWEST HORSE SHOW ***REFUNDS*** A 20% Office Charge will be deducted on any Refunds. Doctors or Veterinarians certificates must be in the hands of the Show Secretary by September 7, 2008. Unless other arrangements have been made. REFUNDS WILL BE SENT IN THE MAIL $20.00 charge on any NSF checks written. t
