The Red River Horse Breeders Association, Inc. was incorporated on March 23, 1964, at the Clay County Courthouse in Moorhead, Minnesota. The purpose and mission is carried forward from the day of incorporation to present time by dedicated membership of the Board of Directors of the Red River Horse Breeders Association, Inc.The Horse Breeders have met the demands of an ever changing world of equine activities by adding events and activities to promote and encourage the raising of horses in the Red River Valley area.  These events include, but are not limited to, the Great Midwest International Horse Show and the Red River Valley International Select Sire Futurity.  Both events are held annually and comprise the primary activities of the Red River Horse Breeders Association, Inc.
